We were blessed with a lovely day and managed to get the packed programme completed on Sunday 15 September. There were plenty of excellent matches throughout the day, with two very close Men’s Doubles matches to finish.
It was wonderful to see so many members new and old during the day and the cakes were truly exceptional in both variety and quality. For the record:

Congratulations to all the winners and also the gallant runners up – there were some fantastic matches and great tennis played, with many players in more than one final.
The most improved player is an award to the player who the Committee votes as the player who has improved the most in the year, following much discussion the Committee decided that Debbie deserved the award as she has improved significantly throughout the year and been at most club nights.
