The club celebrated Jane Dalton’s 90th birthday last week with a coffee and cake in the pavilion after their silver tennis session. Jane has been a playing member at the club for a very long time, and has only recently stopped playing. Her friends in the Silver tennis group enjoyed celebrating the big 90 with her in the pavilion.
During the winter months Katie will continue to be available for individual or group coaching Monday – Thursday 9-4pm. Adult group coaching will begin again in April. Tuesday evening 6:00-7:00pm. (Improvers), Thursday evening 6:00-7:00pm (Beginners) Junior coaching will be on a Wednesday afternoon Blue (4:00-4:30), Red (4:30-5:30),Orange (5:30-6:30).
As can be seen there were a few years of experience on court in a recent over 80’s doubles match with Peter, John, Richard and Victor.
